October 2007. Marty is 50 and in a band. The band is stuck, Marty gets out. Marty puts an add on Craig’s List.

Vic is browsing Craig’s list, and calls Marty. Dave is browsing Craig’s list, and calls Marty. Marty talks long time pal Oscar into playing. It’s a band.

A few poorly chosen names later Dave says: “Elementary Penguin”. John and Paul would approve.

After relative success with a number of gigs, life, or better work, got in the way and it all stalled over the summer of 2009. Vic became discouraged and moved on. Marty remembered Gregg from a previous engagement and voila, we’re back in business!

OK, so we’re a rock and roll midlife crisis; we’re having fun, and that’s what counts!
